INTO MY HOME
Come abitiamo>>. Cosa accade? |
Into my home is realized through an invitation to dinner, in a flat. The need to work in a domestic space was generated with the aim of investigating the interpersonal relationships, disrupting the quotidian and transforming perceptions. The invited guests live a situation in which the performative action occurs in the convivial moment, which can generate dialogue. The main creative instrument of the performance was the Archaic Song: passed on from person to person. Vocal sounds are connected with intimacy and depth; as an archaeology of the collective memory. Thus, the performance operates between two poles: the first connected to physical and ontological potentialities of the traditional songs; the other to the time, actions and details that belong to the ordinary. (...) To be among the "ignorant" invited of friends promoters of the project "Into my home". The work in progress is projected and developed by Alessia Certo and Giulia Vannucci. The performance is attained primarily through the "vibratory archaic song" and the interaction with quotidian objects. Why a private home? << Because is a microcosm that encompasses not only what we are but also how we relate to the outside. How we inhabit >>. What happens? The performers mingle among the guests, eat and speak with the other until, at some point, from activities related to the situation, something becomes extra-quotidian. It changes the space, the status of a person(...) Caterina Misuraca, journalist for Artribune. |
