Procedere per tentativi, fallimento dopo fallimento in cerca di un assetto ipotetico. I processi intenzionali dell'uomo mirano a continui esercizi per definire e rivelare conoscenze. L'arte, attraverso un approccio poetico, estrapola e genera tentativi, procedento per aporie e fallimenti necessari. L'autopoiesi resta nel confine irrisolvibile dell'essere e dell'esserci, della descrittività e della coscienza stessa. Un processo basato sulla visione, sull'apertura all'altro e a se stessi in una molteplicità di tentativi che si traducono già in dubbio perpetuo. Questo è l'impulso e il potenziale di ogni operazione artistica. Didymos nasce nel 2007 con l’idea che le pratiche artistiche abbiano confini permeabili e che l’artista possa muoversi tra di esse rispetto a ciò che intende cercare e comunicare. Didymos dal 2007 ad oggi ha articolato la propria ricerca in più progetti nel campo delle arti visive e della performance. Il percorso delineato ha un andamento circolare e rettilineo allo stesso tempo: il lavoro porta conoscenza e si stratifica; ma, a distanza di anni, tra i progetti passa lo stesso intento, le stesse aspirazioni che prendono forme diverse e rivelano altre possibilità e significati. Per il collettivo Didymos l’arte ha uno scopo solo se si pone in relazione con la società, l’arte è un’azione politica che de-struttura, mette in discussione, rivela significati non visibili, crea un’alternativa al contemporaneo e genera dubbi positivi, delineando una via di azione implicita alla fruizione: chi contempla l'opera è posto nella medesima fragilità contemplativa dell'artista. L’azione è il centro della pratica, ogni opera è il risultato e l’impulso ad essa, per risvegliare una contemplazione positiva, la quale costruisce un'azione che coinvolge l'interiorità, l'intenzionalità, l'intuizione verso il mondo che ci è dato e verso l'altro che aspetta di essere incontrato. La creazione di un’opera avviene per mezzo di un’esperienza, fisica e trascendente, stratificata costituita da atti conoscitivi e creativi, nei quali si rivela fondamentale attraversare e farsi attraversare da tutto ciò che consideriamo ordinario, descrittivo e pregno di adombramenti: camminare per la città, catalogare e classificare le cose, delineare gli spazi di relazione, delineare il proprio spazio apodittico. Il campo di indagine è direzionato sulla nostra condizione di esseri umani contemporanei, con le nostre contraddizioni e modelli di rappresentazione e relazione rispetto alla realtà che noi stessi abbiamo creato. Cosa intercorre tra le persone (comunità), cosa intercorre tra la persona e la sua casa, gli oggetti e lo spazio in cui si sposta o staziona; tra la propria interiorità, la propria esteriorità e il mondo, tra ciò che si desidera fare e ciò che si fa. Questioni alle quali siamo chiamati a rispondere personalmente, da punti di vista antropologici, filosofici, sociali e poetici che riguardano tutta la collettività. La pratica artistica implica una messa in discussione e un mutamento interiore dell’artista; l’opera è la forma del mutamento. L'artista diventa un fluido, che attraverso il lavoro si modifica, induce all'azione, alla riflessione, esso stesso diventa mutamento. L’azione politica dell’opera trova il suo compimento ultimo nella relazione con il fruitore; il lavoro visivo o performativo è un’azione verso lo spazio, gli oggetti, gli individui con i quali entra in relazione o conflitto ed è anche un'azione verso se stessi. Il suo scopo è generare un’altra azione, non lasciare immutato ciò che incontra. |
Proceed by attempts, failure after failure in search of a hypothetical disposition. The human intentional processes aimed at continuous exercises to define and to reveal knowledge. The art, through a poetic approach, extrapolates and generates attempts, proceding by aporias and necessary failures. Autopoiesis remain in the unsolvable border of being and Dasein, of the descriptivity and consciousness itself. A process based on the vision, on the openness to the other and to themselves in a multiplicity of attempts that are already translated in perpetual doubt. This is the impulse and the potential of every artistic operation. Didymos was founded in 2007 with the idea that artistic practices have porous borders and that the artist can move between them with respect to what he intends to try and communicate. Didymos since 2007 has divided its research in several projects in the field of visual arts and performance. The process outlined is circular and straight at the same time: the work brings knowledge and is stratified, but, after many years, through projects passes the same intention, the same aspirations that take different forms and reveal other possibilities and meanings. For the collective Didymos, the art has a purpose only if it arises in connection with the society, art is a political action to de-structure, challenges, reveals meanings that are not visible, it creates an alternative to the contemporary and it generates positive doubts, outlining a path of implicit action to the fruition: who contemplates the work is placed in the same contemplative artist's fragility. The action is the center of the practice, each work is the result and the impulse to it, to awaken a positive contemplation, which builds an action that involves the interiority, intentionality, the intuition towards the world that is given to us and toward the other tha is waiting to be met. The creation of a work is by means of an action consists of layered, physical and transcendent exerience, formed by a cognitive and creative actions, which is crucial to pass through and to be passed through everything that we consider ordinary, descriptive and imbued with adumbrations: walk around the city, categorize and classify things, outline the relational spaces, outlining its apodictic space. The field of investigation is directed to the condition of our contemporary human beings, with our contradictions and models of representation and relation with respect to the reality that we ourselves have created. What happen between people (as individuals and as a community), what between the person and his house, the objects and the space in which you move or stationary; between own inner and outer and the world, from what you want to do and what you do. Questions to which we are called to respond personally, by anthropological perspectives, but that affect the whole community. The artistic practice involves a questioning and an interior change of the artist, the work is the form of the change. The artist becomes a fluid, which through the work changes, induces to action, to reflection, itself becomes change. The political action of the work finds its ultimate fulfillment in the relationship with the viewer and the visual or performative work is an action towards space, objects, individuals with whom enters into a relationship or conflict, and is also an action towards yourself. Its purpose is to generate another action, do not leave unchanged what it encounters. |

In June 2006 created in Genova, with other seven set designers, T.U.O.N.O. Association, based on theatrical reserch, relation body-space. From June 2006 to May 2007 T.U.O.N.O. developed the project “L’officina della polvere”; during the project the group take part to Containerart with an installation (Ampia camera con vista sul mare) and a performance(Memoria dell’acciaieria); the project end with the performance “L’officina della polvere” of which T.U.O.N.O. projected and realized the scenography, and wrote the text. For the direction work with the group Susanna Gozzetti. In August 2007 left the group.
