Come ti permetti?! |
The curtains would be drawn, the stairs would lead I do not know where, the windows would face on rotten skylight passages. The first door would be open on a polished hardwood, the furniture as museum pieces would make you a bourgeois, your shoes would be narrow, smaller than your number. There are tables and little tables, silverware, porcelain, chandeliers, chairs, floral and geometric carpet rivers, rivers of jackets that cut through the shoulders, hats that crush the heads. The things would submerge you. I could try to catalog all the things in your space, but would be an attempt impossible. The world was born on 3/7 of the 0000, then things are born later, why the things? By what right things? How dare you! Then comes the moment when it is necessary that the foundation of every action there is the superfluous because it is really full of meaning, the intent is clear, the purpose is not clear. I could opening my eyes wake up in another bed and hear other voices in the room next door and lifting the venetian blind see another landscape. I could finally rush to the entrance to open the door to two men of the moving company. It would be a narrow room with a square window, a little bed and a wardrobe with two doors. Would only need to fit in a desk or table and replace the bulb with a more luminous. It would be inconvenient to do all things: eat, sleep, work, wash, wash myself, but would be perfect, however, everything would be temporary, would be perfect, but not perfection, would be provisionally perfect. It would be a retreat where squatting sinking into a bed of crumpled sheets. It would be a space, the way out for a few hours, without the strength to think about or act on something. The reduced size so those four walls would meet the requirement of vanishing through a deep sleep evading questions without an answer yet, and deferring the abandonment of my adolescence. Get in other clothes, pretending to be someone else, with another tall, another haircut, another voice. Dismember own life little by little, every night dreaming of moving to another neighborhood to try to figure out which is the most suitable to your aspirations. Thinking all day about how it could be, or how you would like, your home, using every moment to imagine things that don't have. Connote yourself with what seems appropriate so that your condition is desirable. Object, simulacrum or model, it is a limited choice: the shape, tone, his presence predetermined. The object is the inebrianting soma permeating from house to house. When you've got everything that is good to posses to be considered like any other, you'll get a sense of completeness. In your house they will feel reassured by the presence of a mirror at the entrance, a television in the living room, a closet far and wide as the wall opposite the bed, by the order of the modular kitchen, the framed photographs of family members. The eyes fall on any surface; the tacit judgment of others creates amnesia of your identity. Among the rooms frozen in their irrevocable function hides the restlessness of the vulnerability. You don't look your self in the mirror before going out, can not stand the noise of the television, your clothes are in only two cabinet doors, you lose time looking for what you lost and you will not find among the many cabinets and doors, you never trusted your parents. (Try to imagine your house empty of all that is not necessary for your survival.) |
